FOUNDATION IN DANCE 1 (3 – 4 years old) – LITTLE MOVERS

Our youngest dancers embark on an exciting journey into the world of movement! This level introduces basic coordination and body awareness through fun movements and creative activities. Each class is filled with imaginative storytelling, where dance becomes a way to tell a story, whether it’s dancing like animals, flowing like water, or soaring like birds.

Children will explore simple Ballet techniques like good and naughty toes, rises, demi plies, Modern sway and marches, and Jazz runs and rhythm, encouraging them to express themselves and develop a love for dance. Our nurturing teachers create a playful environment where little movers can gain confidence, improve their gross motor skills, and make new friends while dancing!

FOUNDATION IN DANCE 2 (4 – 5 years old) – GROWING DANCERS

Designed for our budding dancers as they continue to build on their foundational skills. Through engaging exercises and imaginative storytelling, dancers will enhance their balance, flexibility, and rhythm. Emphasis is placed on strength, clarity and creativity, allowing each child to shine while developing their unique style.

In this level, children will refine their basic movements and begin to learn techniques in Ballet such as tendus, flexes, port de bras, step hop, pony galops, Modern moves like bounces, puppet balance, and Jazz arm techniques and body shake. Our supportive atmosphere encourages children to express themselves and explore the joy of dance.

FOUNDATION IN DANCE 3 (5 – 6 years old) – CREATIVE EXPRESSORS

Our enthusiastic dancers are ready to take their skills to the next level! At this stage, children will focus on more structured techniques in ballet, modern, and jazz, while still embracing creativity. They will learn to execute basic choreography, improve their posture, and enhance their musicality. Each class will include opportunities for creative expression, allowing dancers to interpret music and movement in their own unique ways. Our experienced teachers guide students through fun, interactive lessons that challenge them to express their emotions and ideas through movement. Foundation 3 is not just about honing technical skills; it’s about cultivating a lifelong love for dance, encouraging students to feel confident and empowered as they take the stage.

Students are taught the RAD Ballet Pre-Primary syllabus in conjunction with a specially curated modern & jazz syllabi.
