The SUSS-HomeTeamNS Sponsorship scheme aims to provide suitable candidates with the opportunity to enrol in programmes with SUSS and develop skills for life.
Prospective students must separately submit the online Admission Application. The application fee is S$65.40 (inclusive of GST) and non-refundable.

Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) is a university of Singapore with a rich heritage in providing lifelong, learner-centric and industry-relevant education, with a strong social emphasis that transcends disciplinary focus. Committed to the promotion of lifelong learning, SUSS offers a variety of sponsorships to new as well as existing students pursuing their studies in SUSS.
Who is Eligible?
The Sponsorship is open to new and current SUSS students pursuing part-time undergraduate programmes, Bachelor of Laws (LAWLLB) , or graduate programmes (Master’s, PhD and Doctoral programmes only).
The Sponsorship is open to all HomeTeamNS Ordinary members, Associate Members and staff who have at least 12 months’ of membership validity. Applicants must remain as HomeTeamNS Ordinary members, Associate Members or staff throughout the duration of the course of study at the University or the sponsorship will be immediately revoked.
Applicants must be Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents with impressive academic and co-curricular activities records, strong language skills and demonstrate leadership qualities.
Applicants who are currently applying for admission or studying the part-time undergraduate programmes or LAWLLB must not already be degree holders.

New students must meet the admission requirements for the programme of study applied for at SUSS. They must separately seek admission to the programme and must be accepted for admission before being considered for the sponsorship.
- Singapore Citizens who are eligible for government subsidy – award will cover up to 80% of the total course fee (inclusive of government subsidy).
- Singapore Citizens aged 40 and above who are eligible for government subsidy – award will cover up to 92% of the total course fee (inclusive of government subsidy and Skillsfuture Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy). More information on SkillsFuture Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy.
- Singapore Permanent Residents who are eligible for government subsidy – award will cover up to 60% of the total course fee (inclusive of government subsidy).
- Students who are not eligible for government subsidy – award will cover up to 50% of the total course fee.
Tenure of Sponsorship
The sponsorship is awarded for the period required to complete the full programme of study.
Value of Sponsorship
The value of the sponsorship for part-time undergraduate programmes is as follows:

How To Apply
To apply for the sponsorship, you need to submit your application online by the stipulated closing date. You may wish to view the e-guide before you apply for the sponsorship.
For new students, you must submit your admission e-application first before submitting your application for sponsorship.
Previously unsuccessful candidates need not re-apply. Only successful candidates shall be notified via email by end June for the July Semester.
- The decision of the Student Awards Committee of SUSS is final and binding, and no reasons will be given for the non-selection of unsuccessful candidates. No appeals will be entertained.

- The Sponsorship covers course fees for the entire programme of study, up to the values indicated below:
Sponsorship recipients are not required to serve a bond with the SUSS or HomeTeamNS.
Prospective students must separately seek admission to the programme and must be accepted for admission before being awarded the Sponsorship.
Applicants are allowed to apply for only one Sponsorship or Scholarship at any one time.
The Sponsorship may not, without the prior approval of SUSS, be held concurrently with any other awards.
The recipient is required to sit for all examinations, complete the programme within the prescribed time and conform to regulations, instructions and discipline in force for the respective programme. In addition, for continuation of the sponsorship, the recipient is required to maintain at least a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.0 for part-time undergraduate programmes, or a CGPA of 3.5 for the Bachelor of Laws, or a CGPA of 3.8 for graduate programmes.
SUSS reserves the right to withdraw or suspend the Sponsorship at any time if, in its opinion, the recipient's conduct or academic performance has not been satisfactory.
Applicants are required to submit copies of educational certificates, transcripts, pay slips and other supporting documents together with the Sponsorship application. Otherwise,
the application will be considered incomplete and will not be processed.Sponsorship application for January semester / July semester must be submitted by 15 September / 15 March, respectively. Recipients are not allowed to request for deferment of the Sponsorship award.
The decision of the SUSS and HomeTeamNS on the selection of sponsorship applicants is final and no appeal will be entertained.
SUSS and HomeTeamNS reserve the right to amend the terms and conditions for the Sponsorship award at their sole discretion without prior notice. A separate letter and agreement with the detailed terms and conditions (including the above terms and conditions) and others relating to the course of study will be given to all successful applicants.
