1. Let’s Rangoli Together! by Singa Rangoli- A hands-on, creative activity to co-create a vibrant, larger-than-life rangoli.
2. The Art of Wayang Kulit by Paper Monkey Theatre- This interactive experience offers a hands-on introduction to the age-old art of shadow puppetry. Audiences get a rare chance to see and compare traditional Wayang Kulit from Southeast Asia with Chinese shadow puppets— both rich in history and craftsmanship.
3. Minhwa Hands-on Workshop by Singapore Association of Minhwa Art Participants will learn the unique techniques of Korean folk art and ‘re-create’ a traditional Minhwa artwork. They will bring home their finished piece beautifully framed with Hanji, traditional Korean paper.
4. Getai Songs by The Opera People Ltd- Tan Yuting reimagines 3 popular getai songs through the lens of contemporary art song, transforming this often underrated tradition of the Singapore song tradition for the 21st century.
5. Marble Mini Pot/Rainbow Prism Bear Workshop by Chokmah- A special discounted workshop as part of A Date with Tradition where participants will learn to craft their own piece using Jesmonite.
