Home Team NSmen put their strength, speed and stamina to the test at the MSD Fitness Challenge 2018.

This May, more than 120 NSmen and NSFs from the Home Team took part in the Most Supportive Division (MSD) Fitness Challenge 2018. The competition kicked off with a birthday celebration for 11 Home Team NSmen born in the month of May.

Participants competed in five IPPT-related challenges: sit-ups, push-ups, a 40m sprint, a 2.4km run and a 4x800m team relay race. Despite the inclement weather, which caused the 4x800m team relay for NSmen to be cancelled, the competitors were in good spirits, and mingled over a dinner buffet reception.

The event was supported by 35 student volunteers from ITE College West, and graced by Guest of Honour AC Lee Yam Ming, General Secretary, HomeTeamNS Management Committee. He presented the prizes to the winners, including “A” Division, which emerged overall champion and champion of the NSmen Team Category. The NSF Team Category was won by the 1st Division.
