Home › Family Time › Gear up for some September fun: Your activity guide for the school holidays
Make the most of the week-long break with exhibitions, toy fairs, outdoor adventures and more.
This school holiday (6 to 14 September 2025), HomeTeamNS clubhouses are rolling out fun-filled programmes with toy fairs, energetic camps and family-friendly activities. On top of that, we’ve rounded up more exciting events across Singapore.
The only question is: Are your kids ready for an unforgettable break?
Young or old, who doesn’t love toys? From 5 to 14 September, head down to HomeTeamNS Khatib for Crazy Toy Fiesta.
Score discounts of up to 90% on toys from Disney, Marvel, Sanrio, Blackpink and more! If you’re a HomeTeamNS member, enjoy exclusive perks such as an extra 10% OFF your final bill, daily surprise giveaways and exciting flash deals. Plus, catch Tayo the Little Bus in a special drive-by Meet & Greet sessions to keep the spirits high.
Looking for something cool to beat the heat? Register your child for Torpedo Swim School lessons at any clubhouse before 30 September to enjoy a waived registration fee (worth $60) and a complimentary swim pack for all new participants. Classes begin in October.
At HomeTeamNS Bedok Reservoir, Sport-ember kicks off with Proactiv’s Pokequest Camp on the morning of 12 September. Experienced coaches have lined up Pokémon-themed gym challenges — from Machamp’s Power Kicks to Blastoise Battle Dodgeball — for kids aged four to 12. Completing all four challenges earns them a shiny Master Trainer badge. Tickets start from $118.81 with lunch included.
In the afternoon, Trifecta introduces a unique taekwondo class where participants train in VR goggles for a fun, immersive session. It’s a dynamic blend of tradition and technology, as they kick, block and navigate their way through a fun workout. Tickets start from $60, but here’s the best part — you will get a $60 voucher after completion of the class, making your 3-hour Taekwondo session essentially FREE (Usual price is $100 for 2 hours).
Also happening at HomeTeamNS Bedok Reservoir, the Marvellous Kids Fair by Gift Boutique brings irresistible deals and prizes. The star attraction? A Toy Wagon packed with treasures at just $1 and $2. It’s the kind of deal every kid (and parent) will be racing for. Also, members get an exclusive price on toys at unbeatable prices such as the Battery Operated Ride-on Scooter for $38 (U.P. $109) and the Junior Light Folding Scooter for $12 (U.P. $49.90). Terms and conditions apply.
The excitement continues for HomeTeamNS members at the Lucky Spin booth. Simply spend $80 in a single day (at the Toy Fair or participating outlets like Fun Toast, Burger King, Sum Dim Sum, Pawspiracy and Mamanda) to earn your chance. Test your luck with one spin per receipt (up to three spins per member per day) and stand a chance to win a camera or scooter (worth $20).
The fun does not end there, let your child step up to the challenge of grabbing as many toys as they can at one go. To participate, all you need to do is spend a minimum $20 in a single receipt at the Kids Fair (only for 12 years old and below). It’s the perfect way to turn a shopping trip into a family adventure.
If you haven’t already heard, the former S.E.A. Aquarium is now the Singapore Oceanarium — three times bigger, with 22 immersive zones of marine habitats and multimedia storytelling.
Highlights include Ocean Wonders, with thousands of jellyfish, and one of the world’s largest moon jelly Kreisel habitats — the perfect Instagram backdrop. Ancient Waters features animatronic prehistoric sea creatures, while Whale Fall houses a life-sized whale skeleton with a walk-through rib cage.
Interactive zones like Singapore’s Coast let you handle marine creatures in touch pools, and Spirit of Exploration (a ninth-century Arabian ship replica with walking net) keep all ages engaged. With more space, rest stops and accessibility features, even grandparents can enjoy the visit comfortably.
If your kids love “The Floor is Lava”, take things up a notch at Triggered Games at Cineleisure. These kinetic challenges test reflexes, motor skills and teamwork across five games — from dodging the gaze of a nefarious giant eye to tapping wall panels to bag high scores.
Who’s the strategist, athlete or leader in your family? You’ll soon find out — with lots of laughter guaranteed. HomeTeamNS members enjoy 15% OFF prices, starting at $13.60 for off-peak hours.
Singapore’s Mandai Wildlife Reserve remains a beloved world-class attraction where animals and visitors thrive in immersive, natural settings.
Meet orangutans, giraffes and the white tiger at the iconic Singapore Zoo, or marvel at the antics of river otters and manatees at River Wonders. Don’t miss Bird Paradise — and enjoy 30% OFF tickets from Mondays to Thursdays.
Step into the role of paranormal investigators in a haunted hostel, or intrepid adventurers chasing the secret of immortality. With seven immersive scenarios, Trapped SG delivers escape room thrills packed with clever puzzles and captivating themes.
Test your wits with ciphers, anagrams and logic puzzles. And beware: Some rooms even feature live actors to heighten the thrill. Turn this group activity into a fun bonding experience, and with $5 OFF each game, you might just be tempted to book a second round.
Calling all fans of Mickey Mouse and his gang, the Disney Jr. Live On Tour is finally coming to town! From 5 to 7 September at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, join Mickey, Minnie and Goofy for their biggest playdate yet. They’ll be joined by princess favourites like Ariel as well as new-generation stars like Puppy Dog Pals and SuperKitties. When a mysterious “green weather” disrupts the fun, Marvel’s Spidey and friends swing in to save the day.
With only six shows, this is a rare chance for kids — and the young at heart — to see their favourite characters come to life. Tickets start from $28.
Relive the magic of this much-loved tale at Parkview Square, where Groundseesaw — the team behind immersive new media art showcases of Van Gogh, Monet and Klimt — now presents The Little Prince: The Journey of Stars.
For a limited time, the beloved Antoine de Saint-Exupéry classic is reimagined through sweeping digital art and atmospheric storytelling. Over 80 minutes, chapters unfold in dazzling visuals that invite you to reflect anew on its timeless themes of love, friendship, loss and the search for meaning through the eyes of a curious prince.
