Spreading festive joy – HomeTeamNS Sembawang hosted Christmas with a Cause last December, which saw attendees present gifts to the event’s beneficiary – MIJ Special Education Hub.

It was a joyous affair in The Living Space at Sembawang Clubhouse as 57 attendees celebrated the spirit of giving.
Fun, engaging activities such as Santa Games and Christmas Bingo, a lucky draw, and arts and crafts stations were installed for them, along with a hearty buffet spread.
Music band MISCOMM put on a performance that further livened up the mood and enthralled the audience.
The thoughtful gifts prepared by the attendees were then given to the students at MIJ Special Education Hub during a separate occasion, when nine students from the education centre visited HomeTeamNS Tampines. There, they enjoyed climbing at the Clip ‘n Climb facility and a game of Six Bricks.
MIJ Special Education Hub is a centre that focuses on providing education to children with special needs. It currently has over 300 individuals enrolled – ranging from ages four to 30 years old.
