A Record Was Broken At The MSD Clip ‘n Climb Challenge

The Most Supportive Division challenges kicked off with a rock climbing competition at Clip ‘n Climb.

In February, over 160 Home Team NSmen, NSFs and their family members convened at HomeTeamNS Tampines for the first Most Supportive Division (MSD) event of the year. This was preceded over by guest of honour SAC Lee Chin Ek, Assistant General Secretary, HomeTeamNS Management Committee.
The third edition of the MSD Clip ‘n Climb Challenge featured an exciting new competition format that gave participants just one attempt to climb the walls within their pre-allocated zones.

The atmosphere at the theme park was charged with excitement as participants tapped on their strength and agility to bring glory to their respective divisions. At the end of the day, ProCom reigned as Overall Challenge Trophy winner for the third year running.

The team from National Service Training Institute (NSTI) impressed the crowd with their perfect score of 740 points as they emerged champion for the NSF category, while E Division won the NSmen category by clinching 715 points.

First-time participant Syed Ali Bin Syed Abdul Rahman from NSTI shared that watching his teammates break the record for the speed wall, with a team timing of 49.56 seconds, was uplifting.

Family members were not left out either, as they were given the opportunity to scale the walls at Clip ‘n Climb, as well as enjoy a game of Laser Quest.
