Three more weeks to the race. Some of you have been able to adhere to the training schedule while others are not so fortunate due to other commitments. Nonetheless you have decided to go ahead with the race and try your best. The speaker will share on how to round up your final weeks of training optimally and run your best race. Peaking strategies along with other factors like nutrition and conditioning for race day will be shared.
- Prep for the race week
You have been training hard and it is a week to your first 10km race. Should you continue with the long slow run or speed intervals? How should you be eating for optimal performance? Do you get a new pair of socks? These are some questions in the minds of many beginner runners. The speaker will share on the training strategy, nutrition and things to avoid on the race week.
