HomeTeamNS Insurance Scheme

Protects You

You can choose a sum assured of $100,000 and pay a premium of $127 a year or only $0.351 a day. Of course, the higher the sum assured, the better for you and your family.

Protects Your Family2

You can insure your spouse3 up to a maximum of $300,000 and your children4 up to a maximum of $150,000 per child, as long as you are insured under the same plan.

Covers against Death, Permanent and Total Disablement, Dread Diseases and more

A low-cost yet comprehensive insurance plan specially packaged for HomeTeamNS members.  You can select the sum assured you want in multiples of $10,000, up to a maximum of $150,000.  For $50,000 sum assured, premium is $144.50 or only $0.401 per day!

Once you are insured with HomeTeamNS Living Policy, you can extend the coverage to your spouse6, up to a maximum of $150,000, and your children4 up to a maximum of $50,000 per child.

Get Insured

Proposals received on or before the 15th of the month will commence (upon approval) on the 1st of the following month. Upon acceptance, a Certificate of Insurance will be issued to you. In the meantime, you will enjoy accidental death coverage not exceeding 60 days from the date of receipt of the completed proposal form and premium. 

IMPORTANT NOTES

1 Applicable o nly to insured members aged 45 years and below (age next birthday).

2 Your spouse and your child need to be covered under the same plan as you. The insurance cover for your spouse and your child shall cease automatically when your cover ceases. The sum assured for your spouse and your child should not exceed the sum assured for your cover unless your sum assured has been reduced by Income due to underwriting reasons.

3 For HomeTeamNS Insurance Scheme, you and your spouse must be at least 16 years old at the point of application. The maximum entry age for you and your spouse is 64 years old and coverage will cease upon the attainment of age 65 years. The coverage for your spouse will also cease when your spouse is separated or divorced from you.

 4 Your child must be at least 5 years old at the point of application. The maximum entry age for your child is 15 years old. For male children, the cover shall cease upon the attainment of age 21 years or National Service enlistment date, whichever is earlier.

5 Please refer to the Table of Compensation in the policy contract for the various percentages of sum assured payable.

6 For HomeTeamNS Living Policy, you and your spouse must be at least 16 years old at the point of application. The maximum entry age for you and your spouse is 59 years old and coverage will cease upon the attainment of age 60 years. The coverage for your spouse will also cease when your spouse is separated or divorced from you.

 7 Not applicable to Angioplasty & Other Invasive Treatment for Coronary Artery, with payment capped at $25,000.
