The Commissioner of Police held a dialogue session with NS Key Appointment Holders to discuss how to improve NS capabilities.<\/em><\/strong><\/h4>\n

[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]On 12 February, Commissioner of Police (CP) Hoong Wee Teck held a dialogue with 34 National Service (NS) Key Appointment Holders (KAHs) from various units at the Senior Police Officers\u2019 Mess.<\/p>\n

Also present were Commander of Training Command, Senior Assistant Commissioner of Police Loy Chye Meng; Director of Police National Service Department, Assistant Commissioner (AC) Poh Lye Hin; and Deputy Director of Operations Department AC Arthur Law.<\/p>\n

At the dialogue session, CP and the NS KAHs discussed various issues, including NS training. The NS KAHs also shared suggestions on how to enhance the NS experience and the capabilities of officers. These included smoothing the transition process from Full-time Police National Servicemen (PNSFs) to Operationally Ready Police National Servicemen (PNSmen).<\/p>\n

CP also commended the PNSFs and PNSmen for their contributions to the security of Singapore. An example raised was the high rate of arrests by Public Transport Security Command officers.<\/p>\n
