He attends classes and hangs out with his friends during his spare time. But the young man has other pursuits of a selfless \u2013 some may even say heroic \u2013 nature. Though he may not sport a cape, Lim dons a blue uniform on weekends when he volunteers with the Singapore Police Force\u2019s Volunteer Special Constabulary (VSC).[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_custom_heading text=&#8221;Tell us about your volunteer work with VSC.&#8221; font_container=&#8221;tag:h2|text_align:left|color:%23dd1111&#8243; google_fonts=&#8221;font_family:Averia%20Sans%20Libre%3A300%2C300italic%2Cregular%2Citalic%2C700%2C700italic|font_style:400%20regular%3A400%3Anormal&#8221;][vc_column_text]I am currently posted at Marina Bay Neighbourhood Police Centre. I volunteer mostly on weekends, where I patrol the Central Business District alongside regular police officers.[\/vc_column_text][vc_custom_heading text=&#8221;What inspired you to volunteer with VSC? &#8221; font_container=&#8221;tag:h2|text_align:left|color:%23dd1111&#8243; google_fonts=&#8221;font_family:Averia%20Sans%20Libre%3A300%2C300italic%2Cregular%2Citalic%2C700%2C700italic|font_style:400%20regular%3A400%3Anormal&#8221;][vc_column_text]I served my National Service with SPF, but wanted to continue serving the community and doing my part in keeping Singapore safe even after my Operationally Ready Date (ORD).
