Our Objectives

Ø       To cater to the recreational interests in running of Home Team NSFs & NSmen

Ø       To promote regular exercise and healthy lifestyle amongst members

Ø       To provide recreational and competitive running opportunities

Ø       To provide opportunities for social development and integration amongst members

Launching of HomeTeamNS REAL Run Club
 
The REAL (Regular Exercise, Active Lifestyle) Run Club was launched on 26 April 2006.
The Guest-of-Honour, together with the organising committees, officially launched the club
with an inaugural run at Bedok Reservoir.

Activities and Events

REAL Run Club organises a leisure running session on every 1st Sunday of the month. The average distance covered is about 5 - 10km. REAL Run Club has runners ranging from amateur to intermediate who participated in numerous local and overseas races and can share their experiences with other runners during these sessions. These running sessions are free and members can bring their family members and friends along.

Highlights
Stamp-On Campaign
1. Every REAL Run Club member will receive a Stamp-On-Card
2. Collect maximum number of RRC stamp to redeem New Balance Discount voucher
3. Members must bring along the Stamp-On-Card to collect 1 (one) RRC stamp for each session attended
4. Members who attended at least 3 (three) running sessions per year will receive a one time 35% Discount voucher.
5. Members who attended at least 5 (five) running sessions per year will receive a one time 40% Discount Voucher

Running Clinic
The REAL Run Club orgainsing committees, comprising physical education teachers and ex-national runners and will be present to provide running tips and advice to members.

Partial Subsidy for Local and Foreign Races
 
HomeTeamNS REAL Run Club will be selecting members to represent the REAL Run Club in major
running events in Singapore and Overseas. Local races include Mizuno Wave Run, SAFRA Sheares
Bridge Run and Army Half Marathon, 2nd Link Bridge Run and Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon.
Overseas races include the New Balance Pacesetter held in Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur.

The selection criteria is based on the following:

• Attendance from the monthly running sessions
• Participation rate in activities organised by HomeTeamNS REAL Run Club 
• Selected members will be notified by post and requested to submit the official receipt in order
  to receive reimbursement for partial subsidy

Terms & Conditions

• All representatives must agree to wear the official HomeTeamNS REAL Run Club Running Vest
  during the race.
• Acknowledge HomeTeamNS REAL Run Club in the event of any publicity.
